Unable to extract data in SCT Banner 7.0.
Cause of Problem

The problem occurs because the GUAUPRF form is not configured to extract data.
Solution Summary

In 'Go To', enter 'GUAUPRF'. Click 'Directory Options'. Locate record with description 'Internet Native data extract format: FILE (.csv)'. Enter 'FILE' or 'TEXT' in 'User Value'. Locate record with the description 'Enter the name of your Web Output URL'. In 'User Value', enter proper URL.
Solution Details

You can extract data from a Banner form to a spreadsheet. The extracted data can be saved in a Comma Separated Value (.csv) format. Once Banner data is in a spreadsheet, you can easily graph and report the data. The extracted data can be displayed as text in a new browser window.
To set up data extract:
1) Open the Internet browser.
2) Enter the appropriate URL and press ENTER.
3) Enter the appropriate user name and password.
  NOTE: If the environment requires, enter the appropriate database.
4) Press Enter. (The 'SCT Banner' main menu appears.)

5) In the 'Go To' box, enter 'GUAUPRF'.

6) Click the 'Directory Options' tab. (The 'Directory

7) Locate the record with the description as 'Internet Native data extract format: FILE (.csv)'.
8) In the 'User Value' box, enter 'FILE', if you want your extracted data to be placed into a file in comma separated value format.
TIP: To display extracted data in a separate browser window, in the 'User Value' box, enter 'TEXT'.
9) Locate the record with the description as 'Enter the name of your Web Output URL'.
10) In the 'User Value' box, enter the URL that contains the logic used to pull extracted data from the database and display it in a browser window.
11) Click 'OK'.
