JInitiator facilitates connectivity between a Windows based client and Oracle Application forms. JInitiator is used to run Java applets on a desktop client. JInitiator enables you to run Oracle Developer application in stable manner from within a browser. You might need to install the new version of JInitiator if you are unable to login to SCT Banner and the older version of JInitiator is not supported by the SCT Banner 7.0.
To install JInitiator:
1) Download the 'JInitiator 1.3.1.21.exe' file from appropriate Website.
2) Double-click the 'JInitiator 1.3.1.21.exe' file. (The 'Open File - Security Warning' dialog box appears.)
