Cause of Problem

The problem occurs because the telephone number is not marked as inactive in the Advancement Identification form.

The advancement feature in SCT Banner helps to maintain, plan, and evaluate information about a person and organization. Advancement Individual and Organization Data Entry form allows you to manage and store an individual's or an organization's information.
Advancement Identification (APAIDEN) form in the Advancement module of SCT Banner is used to store and manage any individual's or organization's information, such as address, e-mail, biographical data, and telephone numbers. The Telephone tab of the APAIDEN form allows you to enter detailed information on telephone numbers of an individual. The telephone numbers mentioned can be marked as inactive, preferred, or unlisted to signify their current status.
To update an organization's information:
1) Open the Internet browser.
2) Enter the appropriate URL and press ENTER.
3) Enter the appropriate user name and password.
  NOTE: If the environment requires, enter the appropriate database.
4) Press ENTER. (The 'SCT Banner' main menu appears.)
