Solution Summary Open Internet Explorer. From the 'Tools' menu, select 'Pop-up Blocker'. Click 'Pop-up Blocker Settings'. Enter the address of the appropriate Website in the 'Address of Web site to allow' box. Click the 'Add' button. Click the 'Close' button. |
Solution Details Internet Explorer provides the pop-up blocker to prevent unwanted pop-ups from appearing while surfing the Internet. At times, the pop-up blocker treats Websites and databases opened with links as pop-ups and blocks them. In SCT banner, the links provide access to useful content. The pop-up blocker can be disabled or the appropriate Websites can be added to a list of allowed sites to view the desired Web pages. 
To add the link:
1) Open Internet Explorer.2) From the 'Tools' menu, select 'Pop-up Blocker'. 3) Click 'Pop-up Blocker Settings'. (The 'Pop-up Blocker Settings' dialog box appears.)  'Pop-up Blocker Settings' dialog box TIP: To disable the pop-up blocker, click 'Turn Off Pop-up Blocker'.4) Enter the address of the appropriate Website in the 'Address of Web site to allow' box. 5) Click the 'Add' button. (The entered address appears in the 'Allowed sites' list box.) 6) Click the 'Close' button. |
