Solution Summary Login to WebCT. Open 'Course Content Home' page. Click the 'Teach' tab. From the 'Instructor Tools' menu, click 'Grade Book'. Click the 'Grade Book Options' button. Click 'Column Settings'. From the 'Discuss' column, click 'No' for the 'Released to Students' row. |
Solution Details The Grade tool is used by the instructors to view, edit, enter, and manage student information and grades. Student information appears in table format. Discussions enable the exchange of messages among students, designers and instructors. At times, the students are unable to view a discussion as it is not released to them. To resolve the problem: 1) Login to WebCT. 2) Open 'Course Content Home' page. 3) Click the 'Teach' tab. 4) From the 'Instructor Tools' menu, click 'Grade Book'. (The 'Grade Book' screen appears.)  'Grade Book' screen5) Click the 'Grade Book Options' button. (A drop down list appears.) 6) Click 'Column Settings'. (The 'Column Settings' screen appears.) 7) From the 'Discuss' column, click 'No' for the 'Released to Students' row. |
