Cause of Error This error may occur if the CRL support added an additional time delay to the SSL handshake, or when using MetaFrame Secure Access Manager and configuring Citrix Secure Gateway, the box to secure 'MetaFrame XP server' was not selected. |
Solution Summary Create a DWORD value named /timeout = 60000 in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Secure\\Citrix\\Citrix SSL Relay registry key; or run the 'Secure Gateway Service Configuration' tool and select both checkboxes. |
Solution Details Do one of the following to resolve this issue: Add a DWORD value to the registry: CAUTION: Using the Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious, system-wide problems that may require you to reinstall Windows 2003 to correct. Microsoft cannot guarantee that any problems resulting from the use of the Registry Editor can be solved. Use this tool at your own risk. 1) On the 'Start' menu, click 'Run', type Regedit and click 'OK'. 2) Create a DWORD value named 'timeout = 60000' by doing the following on the Registry Editor: a) Locate and then click the following registry key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\Secure\\Citrix\\Citrix SSL Relay b) On the 'Edit' menu, point to 'New', and then click 'DWORD Value'. c) Type: timeout = 60000, and then press ENTER. 3) Quit the Registry Editor. Run the 'Secure Gateway Service Configuration' tool: 1) Run the 'Secure Gateway Service Configuration' tool. 2) Select both checkboxes, the 'MetaFrame Secure Access Manager' check box and the 'Metaframe Presentation Server' check box.
