Cause of Error

This behavior occurs because the reference to the underlying object that is associated with the current data block is incorrect.
Solution Summary

Make sure the object name is spelled correctly in the block's Property Palette and if necessary, the owner is included in the reference in the .format. Rerun the form to perform the query.
Solution Details

1) If necessary, start Form Builder, and then open the form in the Form Builder.
2) In Object Navigator, click the plus sign (+) to expand the form, if it is not already expanded, and then expand the 'Data Blocks' node.
3) Right-click the appropriate data block, and then click 'Property Palette'.
4) In the 'Query Data Source Name' box under 'Database', make sure that the object name is spelled correctly and that, if necessary, the owner is included in the reference in the following format:

  where is the user name of the table owner and is the name of the object.
5) Close the Property Palette, and then run the form again to perform the query.
